GåågleBot project puts a camera on a Roomba to map your room

An open source project has equipped a Roomba with an on-board webserver and camera to create a real-world GåågleBot (pronounced /google-bot/). The Gåågle Bot, written with a double Swedish semi-ligature A instead of a double "O", is a play on the Swedish word gå, similarily spelled with a Swedish semi-ligature A, which means "to go" and the name of Google's indexing software GoogleBot, spelled, well, you know how. The resulting "Going" Indexer Robot uses its camera in combination with OCR text recognition software to create a search index of your appartment while vacuuming.
