Rapid-prototyper robot "RepRap"

On May 29th 2008, at 14:00 hours UTC the rapid-prototyper robot "RepRap" became the first machine to successfully self-reproduce all of it's own body parts. While it still needs your help to assemble it's children, you only ever have to buy one. Then you can print out extra RepRap printers to give to all your friends!

PS: Did we mention that it's affordable? At 400 Euros it's about 80 times less expensive than current standard 3D printers...
