Japanese company TMSUK, which you may remember from our report on their remote controlled shopping robot last year, has just announced a new human-size security robot. The "T-34" jointly developed with security firm Alacom can patrol your home and will alert you on your cell phone if it senses something wrong. You can then use your phone to see through its camera, and to remote control the robot to investigate. Best of all, the current prototype includes a "net launcher", which allows you to trap intruders or other unwelcome guests spiderman style. The robot is expected to retail for about 7000 euros or 9,000 US dollars by the end of the year.
The company is really reliable in creating new remote control robots. It's amazing how they could create a human-size security robot which is actually hard to simulate. Now with the help of robots you can secure your house against intruders through the net launching security robot.
