Hello Everyone,

Eaglesnest Robotics is a Homeschool Robotics club currently based in the West Virginia area. Our motto is Exploring young minds through Science and Technology. By implementing the FIRST® programs into our curriculum our homeschooled students get the opportunity to benefit from the experience of friendly competition using Cooperation and Gracious Professionalism. We have two FIRST Teams, a JR Lego League Team and a FIRST LEGO League Team.

Our Goals at Eaglesnest Robotics are to:

To give students a fundamental education and experience in pre-collegiate Robotics involving:
Research-finding a problem and focusing on a successful solution using creative thinking.
Robot design, to fulfill a purpose
Team management- understanding teamwork and the benefit of complimentary skills
Project management-Gain an expertise in core project management skills and methods using Robotics
Experience the hard work of funding our projects through external support resources.

Our Curriculum's are based on but are not restricted to the LEGO®Education Programs and the National Robotics Engineering Center Carnegie Mellon Robotics Institute. We are continually seeking avenues that will benefit our students by seeking Mentors, experts, products and materials that can help Eaglesnest Robotics achieve its goals. If you have any suggestions for our students we have and open ear. We are continually looking to perfect our curriculum.

We are located on the web at http://www.eaglesnestrobotics.com. Please feel free to visit us to see what we are doing. We really enjoy listening to the Robotics podcast. Hopefully our students will be one of those being interviewed on day as engineers or Scientist. Feel free to give us a shout now and then.
