The University of Tokyo and Toyota Motor Corporation have joined forces to develop a robot to reduce the burden of housework. In a demonstration for the media last week, a prototype was able to put away dishes, clean up rooms and even dump clothes in the washing machine. The humanoid robot stands 155 centimeters tall, weighs in at around 130kg and moves around on wheels. The project aims for a robot that can enter mass production within the next 10 years and a retail price of around 8000 Euros (10000 US Dollars).
I guess film stars and other celebrities now do not need to search in seek of a human maid anymore because this little maiden robot kind of does almost everything a normal human being would do. Perhaps, even better! However, following the iron man policy may not be all the way easy because some presetting is inevitable and if something out of the way happens to the battery health, you might need to get some Aprons for yourself! LOL!
